Happy Birthday Internet

It’s hard to imagine a world without it, but the Internet is only 30 years old this week.

As businesses we now take e-mail, websites and social media for granted and therefore maybe don’t use this fantastic resource to its maximum. Imagine your day without it. Imagine not being able to e-mail customers, direct them to a website, talk to your staff and colleagues electronically, research new opportunities and so on.

We all complain about levels of spam and how the Internet has brought us information overload and made us lazy, but without it how much harder would your day be?

Think of all the things you do and couldn’t do without the internet. Then think how much harder you could be making it work for you if you really harnessed it!
